Best Ramen In London
Time to share where to eat the best ramen in London. From Tonkotsu and Ippudo to Bone Daddies and Kanada-Ya, where will you go for your bowl of noodle soup?
Who doesn’t love ramen? When it comes to ramen joints, it seems Londoners just can’t get enough of them. Once a dish you’d only spot on a Wagamama menu, the humble Japanese noodle soup is really making a name for itself in the capital. It’s cool to slurp… in fact, it’s something we want to do regularly, and in public! And it’s something we’re happy to wait for. Yes you’ll find with all of the options below, you’re likely to pay your dues in queues.
REVIEW: Weekend Brunch At Hakkasan, London
Hakkasan’s Weekend Brunch is a delicious, generous and beautifully boozy!
N.B. I reviewed Hakkasan’s Dim Sum Sunday menu, which has now been extended to run all weekend, under the name Hakkasan Weekend Brunch.
As I descended the dark staircase into Hakkasan’s Central London lair, I wondered what would await me. Emerging into an area of blue mood lighting, beautiful flowers and with the scent of jasmine and patchouli in the air, it felt like the entrance to a high-end spa.
Soon enough, the buzz became apparent. Divided into several seating areas, the restaurant was sleek, dark and sophisticated. Peeking through mahogany partitions, I could see a DJ playing a soothing chill-out mix while a fashionable crowd enjoyed fruity cocktails and steamers filled with brightly-coloured dim sum.
13 Amazing Things To Do In The Black Forest, Germany
From visiting fairy-tale towns to adrenaline-fuelled adventures at one of Europe’s best theme parks, it’s time to find out the best things to do in the Black Forest In Germany in summer.
Germany’s Black Forest and surrounding areas offer beautiful landscapes, highs of 25 degrees, fairy-tale towns and one of Europe’s best theme parks. I’ll admit, I’ve never started planning a summer holiday and thought “let’s go to Germany”. Yet, when I was invited to explore the south-west of the country, I was pleasantly surprised!
San Francisco Food Tour (And Discount Code!)
Want to know more about taking a San Francisco food tour? They’re the perfect way to explore the city’s buzzing foodie scene… even better when it’s with a local from the uber-cool Mission District! Find out more about my experience.
I met Sean from Avital Tours outside The Women’s Building in the heart of San Fran’s uber cool Mission District. Incase you didn’t know, it’s the place the hipsters hang out, with trendy bars and boutiques lining the streets, colourful murals adorning the walls, and of course – a top notch foodie scene. That’s what I was MOST interested in.
On this San Francisco food tour, we’d spent three hours enjoying some of the area’s most unique places to dine, while learning more about the district, the history and the art that makes it one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.
There are plenty of different San Francisco food tours, which will introduce you to various parts of the city via its cuisine. You can head to Chinatown for dim sum, explore the Ferry Building, or take a gourmet walk through North Beach.
I’d already explored Chinatown and North Beach (which is primarily Italian), but The Mission had a distinctly Mexican feel with plenty of no-frills taquerias. While many Mexicans had crossed over the border and set up shop, there were plenty more offerings from other cuisines waiting to be discovered.
